I Ate the Most Luxurious Breakfast in Switzerland 🇨🇭 Villars Palace MICHELIN Key 5 Star hotel 🔑 Swiss Alps 🏔️

We woke up early, around 6 AM, with the sky still dark, excited for our first breakfast buffet. The breakfast at Villars Palace is a lavish affair, served daily from 7:00 AM to 11:00 AM in the stunning Ballroom. Being the first guests, we had the freedom to choose our seats, and we felt like VIPs enjoying top-notch service.

The aroma of freshly baked pastries filled the air, and I couldn't resist the Swiss brioche, a rich and buttery delight that’s a staple in hotel buffets. I opted for a lightly toasted piece, perfectly crunchy on the outside and fluffy within, paired with creamy whipped butter.

The breakfast experience was elevated by live cooking stations where we could order made-to-order eggs, including decadent eggs Benedict, along with crispy bacon and sausages.

We also savoured freshly prepared detox juices and even indulged in some champagne. The buffet spread was impressive, featuring an array of cold meats, salami, and cheeses. The attentive staff offered us a selection of high-quality teas, and we enjoyed pots of jasmine green and sencha green tea.

We filled our plates with vibrant, freshly cut fruits and watched as chefs prepared crepes, pancakes, and waffles topped with honey and mixed fruits. Sitting by the window, we admired the beautiful snowy views while relishing the delicious creations from the talented chefs. For non-hotel guests, the breakfast is priced at CHF 65 per adult.

Indulging in freshly baked pastries, a delightful array of eggs prepared live, crepes, fresh fruits, and an assortment of healthy juices and premium teas creates a breakfast experience like no other. Nestled within the stunning Grand Ballroom, this experience transcends a typical luxury hotel stay; it truly deserves a perfect score of 10 out of 10.

The friendly and attentive waitstaff made our morning even brighter, and after breakfast, we strolled through the stunning lobby, admiring regional Alpine treats while soaking in the breath-taking views of the Alps. Back in our room, we toasted with champagne, enjoying the serene Swiss Alps scenery.
