Easy Fluffy Pancakes | 22 Years Old Secret Recipe!

Wow, looking outside at all the snow, and the snowfall. It's already feels like an early white Christmas now. It's snowing in the UK, right now.

The early morning is quite cold, I'm really hungry, so I've decided to whip up some thick pancake to fuel me up, and then I'll brew nice cortado, with freshly ground coffee beans.

I usually make this for my afternoon snacks, but today I feel like having it right after waking up, maybe being hungry is what got me up early.

I really enjoy eating pancakes, especially when I make them fresh at home. While I'm cooking, I'll sprinkle about a tablespoon of sugar on the thick batter pancake top and make more holes appear.

I like to spread some butter on top. There are three types of salted butter brand that I love in the UK. For a quick filling, I used KP original salted peanuts, which I pour into a grinder to turn into ground powder or peanut butter, depending on how smooth or chunky you want it. I also love to add roasted black sesame seeds, which I grind into fine black sesame powder and mix with granulated sugar to taste.

I'll share the full recipe, including the pancake filling, because this is one of my go-to afternoon snacks or anytime when I'm feeling hungry at home. It's incredibly delicious and nutritious to prepare it yourself at home. Look at the texture, so beautifully done!

Here is my backyard garden in mid-May 2025, which is a testament to the hard work ItalyPaul's put into it. It's filled with tulips and daffodils, resembling a dream garden. The atmosphere is so peaceful and relaxing.

Ingredients:
100g of cake flour
1/2 tsp of baking powder
15g of sugar, which is about 1 tbsp
70g of whole milk
(If you want a really thin and crispy pancake, you can add 80g-90g).
1 free-range egg

Filling:
15g-20g of black sesame seeds, ground into powder
30g of toasted salted peanuts
10g of sugar to mix in, optional
--- Sprinkle some sugar on the pancake while it's cooking.

Method:
1) In a bowl add all the ingredients list on the above.
--- To whip up some light and fluffy pancakes, start by mixing the dry ingredients together. Then, add in the wet ingredients and stir softly until everything is combined, but don’t worry if there are a few lumps in the batter. If you mix too much, it can cause gluten to form, which will make your pancakes tough and chewy instead of light and fluffy!

2) Preheat the pan on medium low heat, then pour in the batter, adjusting the thickness to your preference. If you're not particularly hungry, I recommend to make a thin and crispy version for a light snack.

3) Sprinkle sugar evenly on the batter, and cook it until the bottom turns a nice golden brown, steering clear of any dark or burnt spots. Each piece should take about 5 minutes.

4) You can also add some finely ground black sesame on top for a richer flavour. I really enjoyed it, and it's good for you too! Plus, I've used homemade black sesame paste as a filling. I have a healthy recipe for making black sesame paste and peanut butter the right way, so be sure to check out the link in my video at the end.

It's one of my smart husband's ItalyPaul's favorite snacks at home, especially for afternoon munchies with hot drinks like coffee or milk tea. It brings him so much joy and puts a smile on his face. If you love food art, think about subscribing to the ItalyPaul YouTube channel if you haven't done so yet. He effortlessly crafts cute vegetable and fruit carvings, inspired by his creativity imagination.

If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask! I'm here to answer all your curiosities. Thanks for watching!

Here's a close-up video showing you all how crispy and thin these pancakes are. They're called crispy peanut pancakes, kind of like crackers, and I'm sure you'll love them. You don't have to put a lid on while cooking this type of pancake; it's a crispier version. (One more tips for you guys, you can swap out peanuts for walnuts, or blend them together for a more unique flavour).

Here's an example of how I grind peanuts into a fine powder or even make peanut butter. It's a tasty method! Check out the video link at the end. I hope you find this video helpful and that you can whip up some delicious pancakes at home too.

Enjoy!

I Tried the Most LOCAL STEAK FRITES in Paris 🥩🍟 Compare to Le Relais de l’Entrecôte - Which is the best?

We chose to stay at Novotel Paris Centre Tour Eiffel due to its convenience location. Just next door 2-minute walk to Beaugrenelle shopping centre and 5-minute to MONOPRIX groceries store.

So, we decided to have dinner nearby and made a reservation online after seeing the positive reviews for ''Café Beaugrenelle''.

Upon our arrival, we are captivated by the ambiance: an elegant decor, a welcoming atmosphere, and an outstanding reception. The staff greets us with smiles, showing attentiveness, and it is evident that the joy of hosting is a top priority here.

Dishes

1) Grilled chitterling sausage, mustard sauce, sausage made from pork chitterlings.
Not for everyone!

Sausage
Andouillette is a coarse sausage made primarily from pork chitterlings (intestines) and stomachs.

2) Angus Steak and Fries - Sauce au poivre, frites maison
Everyone will loved it!

Sauce
It is commonly served with a pan sauce made from white wine, Dijon mustard, and butter. It is typically grilled or pan-fried and served with a creamy mustard sauce. Accompaniments: It is often served with mashed potatoes, lentils, or a simple salad.

Prosecco x 2
Sparkling Italian white wine

Parisian brasserie with prices that are fair; our dinner cost us EURO 55, which is quite reasonable considering the expensive Parisian vibe.

We've met some French peoples who subscribed to our YouTube channel. They're super friendly! Cheers to them for having the best festival ever, and happy new year EVERYONE :)

How To Cook Fig-Leaf Gourd 🍈 Shark Fin Melon🍈🍈🍈

Every year, my backyard garden grows and harvest shark fin melon, which is also known as Fig-leaf gourd. It's difficult to buy shark fin melon in the UK, especially I'm 100% sure, we can't get it locally. It's one of our favourite vegetables, so we grow it ourselves; Homegrown vegetables always bring us joy, wouldn't you agree?

This is my home signature's for go-to comfort dish, whether stir fry or making soup noodles, or simply for creating shark fin melon soup in a quick way, this is so comfort and so good!

To make a shark fin melon stir-fry with dried prawns and scallops, start by washing the melon and cutting it into your preferred size. Dried scallops and dried prawns are superb ingredients to incorporate with shark fin melon in a classic Chinese-style soup. The melon, whether young or mature, small or large, when cooked, becomes chewy or shreds into a texture akin to shark fin, soaking up the deep, umami flavours of the dried seafood and broth. Shark fin melon: (Small sized, peeled, and cut into thin strips).

Ingredients
6 dried prawns, homemade
6 dried scallops. homemade
1 garlic, cloves, minced

Rice noodles, optional
- To boil rice vermicelli, bring water to a boil and add the noodles for a short time, typically 2-8 minutes, then drain and rinse with cold water. Be careful not to overcook, as they can become mushy.

Olive oil for cooking
Water 1 cup
or more water to make savoury soup

Seasonings:
1 tbsp oyster sauce (optional) or skip it
1 tsp sugar or to taste

Garnish:
Chopped spring onions
Fresh red chillies

Method:
1) Peel the shark fin melon and slice it into thin strips or batons. Rinse the dried prawns and scallops; since it's my homemade version, there's no need to soak them.

2) In a frying pan, heat the cooking oil over medium-high heat. Incorporate the minced garlic, dried prawns, and scallops. Stir-fry until they become golden and aromatic.

3) Add the shark fin melon strips into the wok, ensuring everything is well combined. You can add a tablespoon of oyster sauce, or omit it as I occasionally do, to preserve the natural umami flavour. Allow it to simmer with a cup of water until tender.

4) Incorporate the cooked rice noodles, lower the heat to a simmer, cover the wok, and cook until everything is ready to serve.

5) Garnish and serve: Once the heat is turned off, garnish with chopped spring onions or coriander and fresh chilies, and serve hot alongside white rice.

World Famous Ladurée Paris French Tea Room - Honest Review

The most famous macarons in the world are made by Ladurée, located in Paris, France. We spent 4 days and 3 nights at the Novotel Paris Centre Tour Eiffel since it’s in a great spot just a few minutes walk from Novotel to Laduree and Lafayette Beaugrenelle and a big food shopping center nearby!

We enjoyed our afternoon tea at Laduree, and we were really impressed by the selection of macarons. They weren't too sweet, but each flavour was delicious and incredibly fresh. They all had natural flavours with a hint of almond. The macarons came with cappuccino, sencha, and jasmine green tea, which made for a great combo.

Parisian Dream is all about Laduree for gourmet treats! The staff are super friendly and have a great vibe, and they’re really nice to vloggers.

I have wrote an Google review regarding the amazing staffs, desserts and atmosphere, all rated at 5 stars. We absolutely love Paris and will definitely be returning again and again! This video is not sponsored and originates from last December.

📍 Ladurée Paris Beaugrenell

The price in Laduree Paris in below
Cappucino 7
Sencha Yamato pot 9
8 mini macarons 26

We returned to the Novotel to pick up our luggage's, and we also enjoyed the beautiful sunsets from the balcony. After that, our Uber showed up outside the hotel and took us to the airport. It took around 50 minutes, depending on how busy it was. I remember last time it took us an hour to airport, so make sure to arrive early if you have a big luggage check in, just in case the luggage counter closes.

Budapest Danube River Night Cruise - Párisi Udvar Hotel Budapest | Michelin Fine Dining Restaurant 2025

At the start, there's a brief trailer showcasing night sightseeing along with dining at the Párisi Udvar Hotel Budapest.

Uber in Budapest is more affordable than in Paris. For one ride, it only costs around £7, depending on the distance and whether it's a busy time or not. Honestly, it's really budget-friendly compared to other countries in Europe.

Párisi Passage Restaurant is a fine-dining spot nestled in the historic 5-star Párisi Udvar hotel in Budapest, known for its stunning Art Nouveau design and its fantastic location in a turn-of-the-century building. The restaurant offers breakfast, afternoon tea, and à la carte options, showcasing a range of European-inspired dishes in a classy setting with a smart casual dress code.

We made an online reservation and arrived at 7 PM. We had a 2-hour dining experience there, and overall, it was quite enjoyable.

Atmosphere & Architecture
The restaurant is located in the stunning Art Nouveau atrium of the Párisi Udvar hotel, often regarded as a masterpiece of lavish design. Notable architectural elements include elaborate patterns, sculptural details and a breath-taking glass ceiling, making it a super iconic place for photos and videos and a unique location.

Below are the list what we eat included the local prices. Also, convert the Hungarian currency to euros. The service is amazing so the service charge is well worth for it.

Japanese Green Tea 3370 - €9

1 Beer 2490 - €7
1 Beef Sirloin / Medium 25900 - €66.20
1 Wiener Schnitzel 15900 - €41
Must request the mustard and ketchup for this dishes.
Service charge 15% 7148 - €19
= 54808 €145

Must try Parisi gorgeous signature dessert, the Párisi Cube. A dark chocolate dessert filled with coffee-rum ganache and milk chocolate mousse inspired by one of the most traditional and iconic Hungarian delights.

I rated it a 9 out of 10, which is a pretty high score for dining in Budapest is a real treat, especially at a 5-star hotel restaurant surrounded by stunning scenery. It's surprisingly affordable, allowing you to enjoy a meal in a gorgeous royal palace with good service, good foods and good drinks. Live performances by singers add an extra layer of enjoyment to the entire atmosphere.

After the dinner, we use the uber app to a short ride to a cruise for the beautiful night scene which are already made an reservation in getyourfguide. Make sure to book early before they sell out so fast!

We paid £25, which included a welcome drinks for two, and we booked for 9:15 PM. We got there 15 minutes early since it was our first time, and we weren't sure where to find our seats. The best ones are at the top for the best views. It's totally worth it for what it is, especially when you see the stunning night views in Budapest. We are definitely coming back for sure!

While we were at the Mystery hotel, it was super close to the boat port. Ubers are really convenient and way cheaper than in Paris, almost half the price for each ride. Thanks for watching everyone! Wishing you all a happy everyday!

Breakfast at the Most Beautiful café in the World - New York Café

Hey Everyone :) Good morning! We’ve got the breakfast buffet at the Anantara (Deep Water Breakfast Room). The vibe feels just like a classic movie. There’s a crowd every day since it’s the most beautiful café in the world, and tons of people are waiting in line outside. The live musicians are super talented, and the atmosphere is absolutely incredible!

The staff took care of us, and they were really polite and knowledgeable. Hearing someone compliment me by saying I look beautiful, that I'm pretty, that they love my smile and my outfit, really made my day :) You all are so sincere and kind hearted :)

As soon as you sit down, the waiter pours some freshly squeezed orange juice into your glass and hands you the menu so you can decide what you'd like to order, including any special requests.

My favourite thing in the morning is a pot of jasmine green tea and sencha green tea; they taste amazing and authentic, 100% top-notch quality.

You can request your fried eggs, and the talented chef will prepare them right in front of you. The golden yolks are stunning, with a crispy base and a smooth, slightly runny texture that I absolutely loved and enjoyed it a lot. Importantly, not greasy at all. Frying an egg seems super easy, but making the perfect one is a whole different story.

Making a Reservation: You can see what's available and book breakfast options while reserving your room on the hotel's official site. Private Service: If you're looking for something special, the hotel has a "Luxury Breakfast with Private Service" option. I'm definitely going to book this for my future stays before I check in. They require a reservation to create a unique experience just for you, featuring a memorable luxury breakfast in the white salon, exclusively for hotel guests. You can check out the details and maybe even book breakfast packages right on the hotel's official site, Anantara.

What's Included: Some room bookings and special deals, like the "Thermal Refreshment" package, come with breakfast, as mentioned on the official Anantara website.

The Anantara New York Palace Budapest Hotel serves breakfast in the beautiful and historic New York Cafe. Hotel guests can enjoy a buffet featuring baked goods, fruits, and Hungarian hot dishes for a total of 40 euros, which is a great deal. There's also a separate option for a luxurious breakfast with a private service, that costs 120 euros for two persons. It's definitely worth it. I'm really looking forward to trying it on my next trip back here.

What’s on the menu: The breakfast buffet features a variety of fresh fruits, juices, warm pastries, and classic Hungarian hot dishes.

Everything you can find on the classic breakfast buffet for hotel guests. We pick our favourite and set up a nice breakfast spread. so we can enjoy it without having to run around multiple times. Everything's right there on the table for us to enjoy.

Incredible atmosphere. well trainned staffs, delicious food, and great teas, making for a joyful breakfast experience. The pastries and croissants have the beautiful textures.

A friendly waiter came over to our table and asked if there was anything he could help with, like taking a picture for us?

It's such a nice and cheerful thing to hear. Even though we're sitting in the corner, the positive vibes are so strong that, we rated it a perfect 10 out of 10.

Atmosphere: The vintage décor of the New York Café create a unique and sophisticated ambiance for your breakfast.

You can ask for a bed and breakfast to be delivered to your room. We're in room 507, the Executive suite with a terrace. The large balcony and the scenery set the perfect vibes for enjoying a glass of champagne while soaking in the breath-taking sunsets.

My Honest Review of 5-Star Hotel | Anantara New York Palace

A trailer of of Anantara New York Palace Budapest moments that truly lifts my spirits. From the bellhop to the front desk receptionist.

Every detail surprised me from the moment I walked in, when the lifts took us up, it was yet another wow, wow, wow moment. The hotel’s service was top-notch, 100% truly the best! I've travelled to many countries in Europe, but this place is where I experienced genuine hospitality.

Our room number is 507, Executive suite with terrace was incredible and worth every penny.
When I opened the door, I was totally surprised. The tea table had everything I could ask for, with a fantastic selection of high-quality teas. The kettle was spotless, just like the new ones you buy. I loved brewing the teas, relaxing on the sofas, and reading the books provided by the hotel.

The chocolate cakes are freshly baked every day, and the strawberries are sliced and brought to our room accompanied by a warm smile and joyful birthday greetings. I celebrated my birthday with my husband ItalyPaul on this expansive balcony that provides 360-degree views, resembling a rooftop. It’s truly incredible! This experience is unforgettable and totally worth it!

JING Tea Jasmine Pearl and Jade Sword Green Tea are hands down the best flavors ever! The only hotel we stayed at offered a selection of premium brands and flavors that were genuinely delightful, especially since we're tea enthusiasts! I discovered that the UK also sells JING TEA on the website jingtea.com/collections/chinese-tea. I spent £60 to get free delivery in the UK. I'm so thrilled!

The pillows at the hotel are super comfy, and I had a great night's sleep. The bathrooms are spacious and exceptionally clean, featuring a large mirror, hand wash, soap, shower, shampoo, toothpaste, toothbrush, and a hairbrush. The toilet paper is of premium quality, and all the amenities provided truly reflect a genuine 5-star service. I was also pleasantly surprised by the jacuzzi and all the impressive features!

The spa here is incredibly relaxing. The pools are sufficiently warm and appear to be clean. Additionally, there is a sauna, a gym, and massage services available. When we arrived at the pool area, there were a few couples who graciously allowed us to enjoy our time together. They were all very kind to us. Before back to our room, we noticed they were in the sauna, and we expressed our gratitude for their kindness, saying thank you and good night.

The hotel staff are exceptionally friendly and always willing to assist with a smile. As hotel guests, we were able to bypass the long queue outside the iconic New York Café, gaining immediate VIP access as guests of the hotel to the most renowned café in the world!

The most unforgettable 5-star hotel, café and restaurant I've ever been to was absolutely the leading luxury hotel in the world. I gave it a perfect score of 10 out of 10!

I will create a separate video showcasing the hotel’s breakfast. After we finish our breakfast, we can choose to check out either online or at the front desk, depending on our preference.

We also made a reservation for lunch at the New York Café, but since we aren't feeling very hungry, we opted for something light and ordered two glasses of iced tea, which is quite delightful! So refreshing! After that, we plan to take a walk to a large supermarket for some snack shopping, and I will also feature Hungarian supermarket snacks in the next video.

Ubers in Budapest are roughly half the price of those in Paris for a one-way ride. On the other hand, Ubers in Copenhagen are the priciest. Overall, Ubers in Budapest are super polite and helpful, and the fares are quite reasonable for multiple trips.

We are bringing smiles back to homes, and we will definitely return very soon.

Looking forward to seeing you in the next episode, which will showcase the local supermarket and snacks. Thank you for watching :)

Satisfying ASMR: My Everyday Afternoon Tea from Scratch - How to Make Delicious Coffee from Coffee Beans - Home Café

Last year, I made a video on how to brew coffee without a machine, combine together all that homemade goodness with cup of coffee art. I've removed my old iPhone device as I've changed a new iPhone. Unfortunately, it automatically reset it, and I never imagined that all my videos would disappear. The only way to get them back is through iCloud, but my account is not enough on storage. since I've been using USB sticks, SSDs, and hard drives instead. So, all my hard work is just gone, it really upset me on that day. But hey, I made it again, and now it’s all done ✔️

The videos showcase my daily afternoon treats, documenting my everyday coffee time with my dear husband. The videos showcase my daily afternoon treats, documenting my everyday coffee time with my dear husband. I've selected most favourited moments to put together in this single video, showing how to brew coffee from beans without using a coffee machine, plus some must-have afternoon snacks.
I really hope you enjoy watching it!

Making coffee is all about the journey from the bean to the cup. It starts with grinding the beans, then brewing the coffee, and don’t forget frothing the milk! Every afternoon, my kitchen fills with the rich aroma of coffee, just like a coffee shop. It’s such a great way to lift my energy and mood, making me feel more relaxed and happy :)

All the baked goods recipes are originate from my YouTube channel :)

My favourite’s coffee beans brands

1) Taylor’s Lazy Sunday Coffee Beans
2) illy Dark/ Medium roast

(I used 100ml moka pot for 2 cups).

Directions:

Step 1: Grind coffee beans into ground coffee
Step 2: Fill filter water below safety valve
Step 3: Fill coffee basket with coffee grounds
Smooth the surface without compacting it.

''Tighten upper pot prevent coffee overflow-ing.
High heat for 6-7 minutes, set automatically turn off''.

If you drink espresso, now it’s done. Enjoy!

If you drink cappuccino, cortado, latte, flat white and add your favourite milk into frother maker for a minimum of 75ml milk for the best frothing result. I recommend using whole milk, I placed my milk on top of the most coldest place. For me, it’s a therapeutic to me to brewing coffee everyday and enjoy. you create the little happiness for yourself!

Nyhavn | A Must-See Spot in Copenhagen - Must-Eat Hot Dog Bun 🌭 Street Food in Denmark 🇩🇰 Nyhavn Copenhagen

Nyhavn. A Must-See Spot in Copenhagen. The vibrant houses of Nyhavn are among the most recognizable places in Copenhagen, resembling something straight out of a postcard or a travel magazine cover. We opted for Uber for our transportation, but it turned out to be pricier than in other European cities like Paris, Zurich, and Prague.

We saw tons of folks queuing up for the classic Danish hot dog buns, a must-have fast food item in Copenhagen. I gave one a shot - Hot dog med frankfurter I svob for around £7. It was so good! The sausage had great flavour, wasn't overly salty, and the crispy fried shallots combined with marinated cucumber, sauces, and the bun made everything blend together just right.

One word can describe it is so ''tasty''. A local photographer named Lucas politely asked us for a few pictures, and we were more than happy to oblige. He mentioned that he loved our outfits and fashion vibes! You can also enjoy food and drinks by the canal in the sunshine or take a boat tour to explore the area.

Copenhagen's city hall is just a 5-minute stroll from our hotel, Manos les Suites. So, if you’re staying at Manos les Suites, definitely take a walk around the area. Standing outside the historic Copenhagen City Hall this April was an amazing experience!

This building, which was built in 1892-1905 🇩🇰, really took my breath away. My husband and I were thrilled to get the opportunity to step inside, all thanks to the World Federation of Chiropractic Congress in Copenhagen.

The interior was simply gorgeous. I felt incredibly fortunate to know that the government still conducts meetings here regularly. A big shoutout for maintaining this beautiful building so well over the last hundred years!

For sure, you can check out the public spaces of Copenhagen City Hall for free. Visitors are invited to stroll around the stunning hall, corridors, and other public spots without having to pay anything.

Although there may be a fee for joining guided tours, getting into the main areas of the building entry won’t cost you a dime. This spot is truly enchanting; inside, it has a strong castle vibe. No matter where you glance, you’re greeted by stunning paintings, mosaics, sculptures, and ornaments. Total Harry Potter atmosphere. Plus, you can explore so many areas.

That was definitely one of the best parts of our journey. There are plenty of coffee shops and bakeries, like the famous Buka Bakery, which you absolutely have to check out while you’re there! Make a note of it and don’t skip it!

The Most Expensive Restaurant in Prague 🇨🇿 Czech Republic - My Honest Review of Zdenek’s Oyster Bar

In the UK, my local has tons of fresh seafood, and we're seafood lovers, we pretty much eat it almost every day and it is our home signature's taste of happiness.

This time we're heading to Prague, and I did a quick Google search local seafood fine dining experience and I found Zdenek's Oyster Bar, which has won the Travellers' Choice 2024 award and to offer a range of fresh oysters. Plus, there are tons of great reviews, and the food pictures look super tempting.

Honestly, I’m not really into raw food. The first time I tried raw oysters was at Manon les Suite in Copenhagen, and they were super fresh and delicious. This was my second time having raw oysters in Prague. Here’s what I got at the most expensive oyster bar in Prague. They were super huge and juicy, melting in my mouth with that same natural sea flavor and a chewy texture, leaving a sweet aftertaste.

Muirgen N2

La Perle Noire N2

Royale

3495 CZK

A "Royale" seafood selection for two means a fancy and large seafood platter made for two people, featuring a range of top-notch seafood options. You might find things like oysters, langoustines, crab, lobster, and other high-end seafood, plus some tasty sides.

We had a great time savoring the incredible texture of seafood such as shrimp, crab, and the massive octopus. The initial bites were super fresh, had a perfect texture, and were really delicious. Overall, the dishes were enjoyable for the first and second bites, but However, by the third bite, we found them a bit too salty for our taste; we prefer more natural and mild-medium delicate flavors.

Two glasses of white wine per person at a nice restaurant in Prague for 1000 CKč / 50€ is pretty much what you'd expect to pay for that kind of place and experience. Service fees 12.5% is 786.25CKč / 32€.

In Prague, fine dining restaurants typically include a service charge of 12.5% on the bill, but if not included, a tip is customary. While some restaurants may try to include an additional service charge, it's often a scam. If a service charge is already included, rounding up the bill is a common practice instead of adding a separate tip.

The total cost of all the foods featured in this video amounts to 7076.26 Kč, which is equivalent to 321.65 € and £280.00.

We rated it an 8 out of 10. The food is fresh and of high quality, but this restaurant in Prague, Czech Republic, can be quite pricey. It's actually more expensive than fine dining seafood spots in Paris.

If you are an oyster enthusiast, it is definitely worth a try!

After a fantastic lunch from 1pm to 3pm, we spent two hours at the restaurant savoring everything from starters to wine, main dishes, and desserts. Right across the street from the restaurant, there's a vintage church, and we took a walk to appreciate its old charm.

I don't feel like change dresses since I didn't bring many on this 4-day, 3-night trip. So, I just wear the same dress again for today to visit two more spots and let's come with me in the next video to the art palace and grab a drink at the rooftop of the U Princess Hotel.

Where to stay in Denmark AFFORDABLE 4 Star hotel Bryggen Guldsmeden Copenhagen 4K Tours & Reviews

Ubers in Copenhagen are expensive, even for just a 5-minute ride. It's about double the cost compared to Paris, Zurich, Sweden, and Prague. However, for the sake of convenience and a more relaxed journey, we still choose Ubers for our transportation.

The staff was exceptionally welcoming and helpful, and the amenities were both creative and enjoyable (especially there were free snacks, tea bags, coffee and other drinks available which was a lovely addition on each floor).

I had a truly delightful experience at the Guldsmeden Hotel. The atmosphere was incredibly relaxed, making it an ideal spot to unwind and take it easy.

I absolutely adored this hotel! It made our time in Copenhagen just perfect. The rooms had a great vibe and were super clean. The decor throughout the hotel was stunning. We really appreciated how eco-friendly the hotel was. The pool and spa area were a wonderful bonus. Sofia, the receptionist, was really friendly and went over everything with us. She's definitely a gem. The Bryggen Guldsmeden Hotel should give her some recognition.

Since we're checking in early, the pool is empty, but once 3pm, check-in time hits, it will many people there. If you're looking to snap some pictures or videos at the pool without nobody, early check-in or before breakfast is definitely the way to go.

I remembered a sunny day back in high school when our class was running around for two or three laps. I ended up feeling lightheaded and just fell to the ground. I almost rest for an hour in the school's medical room. At that moment, I understood that sports weren't really my thing. I get really scared if the pool is deeper than my height. I can't breathe and it freaks me out. I can't swim, but I believe it's not too late for me to learn how to swim.

Fortunately, I have a wonderful swim teacher, who is not only my best friend but also my dear husband. Now, I can swim at a basic level. It's amazing to learn a new things. see, how my swim teacher swimming in freestyle.

We spent a total of £300 for the full experience at this 4-star hotel in Bryggen. Our room, 425, had a direct view of the pool with a balcony, and it came with breakfast, access to the pool, steam bath, sauna, and dinner. A fantastic value for the price you pay.

This is the only restaurant in the hotel where we have our breakfast, lunch, and dinner. It has plenty of tables, and the spaciousness is enhanced by bright lighting, a lovely and chic vibe. I really like eating here, and the atmosphere is very nice.

These signature's cocktails are included for us as guests at Bryggen Guldsmeden Hotel. The next day, we headed over to Manon Les Suites, which is the same brand as Guldsmeden hotels.

The jungle fish poolside bar at Manon les suites is overpriced. every drink is priced between £9 to £12. so, this Bryggen Guldsmeden Hotel is totally worth it! I knew, it might seem like a sponsored video, but this is genuinely my real experience and an honest review, not a promotion or anything sponsored. We had a great time at the 4-star hotel; the restaurant, honestly, it felt more like a 5-star hotel. The food was super fresh and organic, plus it was top-notch. The chocolate dessert there was incredibly delicious, melting in your mouth with its hot chocolatey goodness, making it a perfect pairing with ice cream.

I accidentally smashed my toe with a super heavy table, since when we set our drinks on the table, it slid back and fell into the back holes, we were juggling our drinks with one hand and trying to hold the heavy table with the other, and then the table leg came crashing down right on my toe.

Just imagine this: if I hadn't been in those hotel slippers, who knows what could've gone down? There could've been blood all over the place or even a broken bone. At the moment, my toe looks all peeled, like a small case, but it hurts like a bone's cracked.

Thankfully, the pain gone after about 20 minutes; otherwise, it would have totally messed up my holiday mood, not able to walk and I would have had to rush to the hospital.

I reached out to the hotel team to stop any more of these avoidable accidents from happening to others. I don't really monitor the accident situation since I don't see the need to file a claim. I'm lucky that after a half-hour break, I'm able to walk normally again. Just a heads up for everyone to steer clear of this. It's a serious risk.

When you step out of your home to discovery the world beyond, you can never know what might happen. So, it's important to stay alert, notice every little thing, importantly, prioritize your safety. Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend! Keep a positive mindset, no matter what challenges you face.

Scotland 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 I run away from home 😭 I drove all night 20 hours + to Aberdeen, Scotland

My handsome husband, YouTube nickname ItalyPaul, has been to Scotland three times. Around twenty years ago, he brings his mom, brother, and nephew on an unforgettable road trip there. Now, He's bringing me and you with him on his solo adventure in Scotland this May of 2025.

Honestly, he doesn't plan on road trip to Scotland; he is avoid the fight and slip away at the last minute. Driving to Scotland at night, especially on country roads with no streetlights, it can be challenging and seriously dangerous. Visibility decreases significantly, and factors like potholes, animals, and sleepy drivers increase the chances of accidents.

ItalyPaul was thinking I was mad at him because I didn't answer his many calls. I usually leave my phone behind when I'm cooking or just chilling.

He rushed to some nearby hotels at the last minute, but they were all booked up. So, I quickly reserved the last available room for him at a hotel close by! I would say to the solo traveller, You’re so brave and willing to put yourself out there! It can be a challenge and potential risks, and that stepping outside comfort zone to travel alone requires a certain level of bravery.

First destination
''Wick - John O'Groats''.

on the A9 to Latheron in Caithness, then follow the A99 to Wick, travel through Wick and at Reiss turn right to John O'Groats. It is famous for its iconic views and unique vibe, the village, for more adventures, hop on a ferry, keep an eye out for wildlife, stroll along the coast, explore the bays and beaches.

1) Wick - John O'Groats
2) Thurso - Brough
Leave a comment if you've been to Scotland or if you're excited for this adventure!

3) Dornoch - The Mound
4) Holiday Inn Express Aberdeen City Centre
- Breakfast Buffet

To be honest, before hitting up the hotel breakfast buffet, Paul stopped by a local place for fish and chips, then grabbed a McDonald's Filet-O-Fish and some chips for the ride. He had cold drinks, sparkling mineral water, and crips with him too, but he didn't bother to film it since he wasn't really in the mood, so he didn't focus on every details.

5) Aberdeen City Centre
6) Union Terrace Gardens
- Aberdeen City Centre
7) Edinburgh - Tollcross
- Edinburgh - The Royal Mile
8) Edinburgh Castle
9) Edinburgh - Abbey hill

ItalyPaul's managed to keep his expenses under £500 for his solo 3-day, 2-night road trip to Scotland, included the penalty of £110. A round trip means driving to a place and then coming back home. It took 20 hours, almost driving 1200 miles, and spent over £200 on fuel for range rover.

It's a 3-day, 2-night road trip. On the first day, ItalyPaul drove for over 10 hours straight for one way, without any sleep, which was pretty risky.

Last time, he drove to the Isle of Wigh, the coast of England. This time, a difference route, so not the same modes are involved. Now, Wick is a town in the Scottish Highlands, close to John o'Groats, which is what you’re seeing in this video.

He drove into the bus lane, he also passed through a low emission zone twice, which is basically a clean air zone. a half-price deal within 14 days in total's penalty £110. It's still too much and unexceptional. With a positive attitude, he learned a lesson about the penalty and he is now safely back home.

Thanks for watching! Hope you have a peaceful and relaxing weekend! Give this video a thumbs up if you liked it! Good bye.

I Stayed at Luxury Copenhagen Island Hotel in Denmark 🇩🇰

Our holiday from Humberside to Copenhagen cost us £585, along with an extra £60 for checked luggage, totalling £645 flight tickets.

Although a lot of people think that travel tickets from the UK are the cheapest for flights to Europe, that's only for large cities like London, not for every airport in the UK. Just clarify to everyone.

We chose to spend a special weekend at Copenhagen Island. It's a 4-star hotel that feels like a 5-star, situated on an island in the harbor of Copenhagen, featuring modern rooms with stunning views of the water and city skyline. It really feels like a luxurious experience with those harbour sights.

We spent around £280 for an executive double room, which included the option to buy a breakfast buffet with a balcony and a view of the harbour.

When we're feeling the holiday vibes, we'll start thinking about stepping out of our comfort zone, leaving home to explore a new country, unwind, recharge the energy, and enhance mental well-being. Once we're back home, that happy mood can stick around.

The breakfast buffet from 6:30 AM to 10 AM on weekdays and 7 AM to 11 AM on weekends. It's really a tasty breakfast buffet and a beautiful glass room area for taking good pictures and videos.

The breakfast area has great vibes and stunning views of the harbour, plus the pastries are incredible! I’ll definitely be back next time I'm in Copenhagen.

We switched up the breakfast room and thought it was a different restaurant, so we asked the waiter if we needed to pay extra for later in the glass room for tea and pastries. She told us it was still the breakfast area, and we didn't have to pay extra since we already covered the breakfast buffet. And now, you can see the different restaurant areas!

Here's what I thought about the Positives review: The views from our room were amazing, looking out over the harbour. The beds were super comfy, and we got a great night's sleep! They had a nice selection of pillows, which really helped with my neck pain, a good combination with the memory foam ones. Plus, the décor was really stylish, and I absolutely loved the glass lift in the centre of the hotel.

Once again, this hotel is a pretty good spot, just 15 minutes away from the airport. Hope you like our holiday vlog and our honest reviews on this awesome hotel. See you next time!
